How to change the battery of a Toyota Highlander?

To change the battery of a Toyota Highlander, start by turning off the vehicle and making sure all electronic devices are turned off. The battery is located in the engine compartment, usually in the front left, near the radiator grille. Once located, loosen and remove the clamps that connect the cables to the battery. It is advisable to start with the negative terminal to avoid short circuits or shocks. After disconnecting both cables, proceed to remove the bracket that holds the battery in place. At this point, you can lift the battery out of its housing. Be careful, as it may be quite heavy. When positioning the new battery, make sure the terminals are oriented correctly. Reposition the bracket to secure the battery in place, then reconnect the clamps, starting with the positive terminal. Tighten the clamps well to ensure good electrical contact, and finally, start the vehicle to verify that everything is working properly.
