Detailed instructions - In this video, we will show you how to replace the engine oil and oil filter of the 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan by yourself. To perform this operation, it is necessary to open the front hood of the vehicle and unscrew the oil tank cap. If deemed necessary, we insert the engine flush liquid into the tank, which allows us to purify and clean the entire tank more effectively. It is important to let the engine flush liquid sit in the tank for about 20 minutes. To replace the oil and filter, it is necessary to lift the vehicle on a scaffold or jack stands. We unscrew the oil pan nut and let the used oil drain into a previously placed container. Using a socket wrench, we unscrew the oil filter box nut and proceed with the replacement. After installing the new oil filter, we close the oil pan nut and lower the vehicle. We pour the new engine oil into the oil tank and start the vehicle.
