How to Replace the Oil Filter on VW Tiguan

Model: Volkswagen Tiguan 5N, MK 1 - Years 2007-2016

Replace the engine oil at the intervals specified by the manufacturer. Let's see the replacement on a Volkswagen Tiguan. Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet and secure it. Using a strap wrench, undo the large oil filter. Lift the car on a jack and undo the bolt from the oil sump; allow the fluid to drain into a container. Fit the new oil filter and top up with new oil. Close the front bonnet after maintenance.
