If oil leaks from the edges of the tappet cover, then the relative gasket must be replaced; it is a really simple operation, in fact it is enough to unscrew the screws along the contour of the cover but to reach some of these you have to disconnect the intake manifold sleeve and move the EGR valve; once the cover has been removed, remove the old gasket, carefully clean the relative seat both under the cover and on the head side, fit the new gasket making it adhere perfectly to its seat without applying mastic and reassemble the cover.
