How to change the battery on a BMW X1

In this video, we will see how to change the battery of a BMW X1 e84: we open the hood and remove the grille located under the windshield. We then need to remove the metal bracket that runs through the entire engine compartment, unscrewing it from the sides. Now we can remove the battery protection partition, located next to the air filter. We then disconnect the negative terminal and only later the positive one, always being very careful to keep the connectors away to avoid accidental reconnection. Now we can remove the battery and replace it with the new one. We reconnect the terminals starting with the positive one, put back the metal bracket, then the protection partition, and finally the grille under the windshield. Operation completed.
