How to change the battery of the BMW X1 F48

In this video we can see how to change the battery of the BMW X1 F48: in the previous version the battery was located on the upper right side of the engine compartment, with the car facing us. In this version, however, things have changed, and a seemingly simple operation actually requires a lot of work. We must first remove the cover of the ventilation tray under which it is mounted, first removing the rubber sealing strip, grabbing it from one end and pulling it off, and then the metal bracket. We will also need to remove the air intake tube of the filter, disconnect the air flow sensor, and then remove the air filter drawer itself, not forgetting to unscrew the bolt on the right side. Now we have two battery mounting bolts, one at the bottom and one at the top, to be removed along with the plastic partition to which they are attached. And we still have a safety fastening under this partition: the youtuber also justifies the high costs of BMW workshops for a battery change, as half the engine had to be disassembled! Finally, we can disconnect the negative pole first, then the positive one. After the replacement, for which we simply have to follow the reverse procedure, let's not forget the reprogramming, which by the way cannot be done with one of the simple devices that everyone uses to decode errors on the control unit: a semi-professional device is required. The youtuber does not give instructions on the procedure to follow, surely the vehicle must be identified through the VIN code and then the type of battery selected, identifying it as an original BMW part or not, the number of amperes, and when all the parameters have been entered, we can confirm.
