Where is the starter motor located in the BMW 3 Series?

In this video we can see where the starter motor is located in the BMW 3 Series and how to proceed in case we need to replace it. As shown, the starter motor is located in the rear left area of the engine, just below the intake manifold. To access it and subsequently replace it, make sure first of all that the key is not inserted, then remove the battery, the front cover, and the filter box. Disconnect the various connectors indicated, remove the intake manifold, and proceed to replace the starter motor.
