How to replace the oil filter and engine oil of the Fiat Panda

Today with the help of this short video tutorial, we will explain how to perform maintenance on a 2008 Fiat Panda 1200 petrol independently. Specifically, today we will replace the oil filter and engine oil, the cabin air filter, and the engine air filter. We open the front hood and remove the oil filling cap, also raising the oil level check stick. To facilitate the oil drainage, we lift the vehicle and place a container under the oil pan; using a 12mm wrench, we unscrew the nut and let the oil drain into the container. Next to the oil pan is the oil filter box; using a 12mm wrench, we unscrew the nut and remove the filter inside. We insert the new filter and tighten the nut, also closing the oil pan nut and lowering the vehicle. It is possible to perform this operation without lifting the vehicle, but it is customary to do so to facilitate access. We remove the outer air filter cover and remove the worn filter; clean inside the box and insert the new filter. We remove the lower part of the right dashboard to remove the cabin air filter cover. We remove the filter, clean the box, and insert the new filter. We top up the oil in the tank and close the front hood.
