This video explains how to check cylinder compression on a Ford Mondeo. First remove the ignition coils by disconnecting the pins and unscrewing the 10mm screw that holds each individual coil. Now you have to remove the candles with the special key, checking that they are not wet or worn. Now it is necessary to screw the pressure gauge to the first cylinder; get into the car, press the clutch and accelerator fully and start the engine, insisting for five seconds. Read the value indicated by the pressure gauge and note it, release the pressure from it with the relief valve and screw it into the second cylinder to repeat the test; repeat the operation for the other cylinders as well.
