How do you replace the battery on a Land Rover Defender? This video explains how to remove the battery: open the car door and lift the driver's seat; the battery is underneath it (in other cars, it is usually located in the engine compartment). Remove the plastic cover from the battery cover, then use a socket wrench to unscrew the securing bolts of the battery terminals.

Remove the old battery using the plastic handle and install a new one, tightening the power terminals. Close the battery compartment and lower the driver's seat.
