In this video tutorial, you can see how to reset the engine oil light on a Volkswagen Routan. The first step is to perform maintenance on the vehicle, such as changing the engine oil and filters. After completing the DIY service, get in the vehicle and engage the parking brake; insert the key and turn on the ignition; wait about 10 seconds until the "CHANGE" message flashes. Now, press the accelerator pedal three times within 10 seconds. Turn off the ignition and remove the key. After 10 seconds, insert the key, turn on the ignition, and wait another 10 seconds to check if the oil light comes back on. Reset completed.
