The replacement of the oil and its filter are simple but very important operations for the engine's lifespan. It is recommended to strictly follow the deadlines indicated by the onboard computer.

Firstly, we lift the car with a workshop jack, not using the one provided with the vehicle, and for greater safety, we secure it with a jack stand.

We now proceed to remove the plastic protection under the engine, removing the 7 fasteners and extracting it completely. We place a flat but spacious container under the oil pan, unscrew the cap, and let all the oil drain out.

We then proceed to remove the old oil filter. To access it, we must remove the air intake by removing the bolts as shown in the guide. Then, using a 36mm socket wrench, we unscrew the filter cover. Once the cover with the filter is removed, we extract the filter, remove the old O-ring, insert the new filter and sealing ring.

We then screw the cap with the new filter back into its seat, check that all the oil has drained out, and screw the cap of the oil pan back on. We can now lower the jack and add the new oil, checking the level with the dipstick to avoid overfilling.

Once we have reached the correct level, we start the engine for a short time, turn it off, and let it cool down. After 10 minutes, we check the level again and top up the oil if necessary.
