This guide shows how to replace the heating radiator on the Volkswagen Golf Mk4. To access the heating radiator housing, you must remove the dashboard. Next, remove the steering wheel, instrument cluster, and air vents. At this point, you can remove the glove compartment and the plastic casing of the gear lever. Remove the radio and climate control unit. Unscrew the fixing screws of the plastic cover of the dashboard and take it out. Now, remove the airbag and the air hoses. You can then extract the radiator block and remove the unit from its housing. Once the new radiator is inserted, reassemble the unit and the removed parts. Check the correct operation of the radiator.
