How to change the lock of a Land Rover Freelander 2? We remove the door panel of the Freelander 2 to remove the door lock. We disconnect the battery terminals in the engine compartment, with a screwdriver we unscrew the screws located in the space of the upper lever of the door opening and the screws present in the handle. We remove the plastic covering near the lever, unscrew the screws left on the door panel and remove the clips fastening it. Remove the panel with your hands and unhook it from the door (disconnect the power cables and the opening cable). We find and tightening screws of the lock and unscrew. We remove the lock from inside the car door.
