How to locate fuses and know their patterns in a Subaru Forester

Model: Subaru Forester SF, MK 1 - Years 1997-2002

We can locate the first fuse panel of a Subaru Forester car inside the vehicle's passenger compartment, exactly located at the bottom left of the steering wheel, behind the dashboard. This panel contains fuses assigned to: door locks, cigarette lighters, airbags, fog lights, ABS, radio, clock, wipers, windscreen washers, brake lights, air conditioning, cruise control, accessory sockets, etc. Located at the right end inside the engine compartment, we find the next fuse box; the latter contains fuses assigned to: window defroster, horn, radiator, alternator, left headlight, right headlight, interior lights, light switch, etc.
