Engine Oil and All Filters Replacement

Open the front bonnet and ensure it is securely supported.
Loosen the 4 nuts securing the engine cover and remove it.
Lift the vehicle and place it on two axle stands. Position a suitable container (approximately 5 litres) to collect the used oil under the oil sump plug and remove the plug with the appropriate Allen key, allowing the oil to drain.
Meanwhile, remove the oil filter located under the diesel filter, near the alternator: it is advisable to use a metal strap wrench or puncture the filter with a screwdriver to leverage and unscrew it (ensure the container is positioned below the filter to collect the oil that spills out).
Apply the new filter after coating the seal with oil to improve adhesion, and tighten it by hand. Refit the oil sump plug, replacing the copper washer if necessary.
Insert the new oil into the engine through the designated cap according to the SAE specifications and the quantities stated in the user and maintenance manual, checking the level on the dipstick.
To replace the diesel filter, disconnect the connector linked to the cap and unscrew the retaining ring of the cap itself, without disconnecting the pipes. Then extract the filter cartridge and replace it with the new one; screw the cap retaining ring back on and reconnect the connector.
To replace the engine air filter, loosen the 4 screws securing the cover of the filter housing, lift the cover and remove the old filter. Clean the filter housing of any residues and position the new filter before reassembling the cover and tightening the 4 screws.
It is not advisable to clean the intake ducts and the EGR valve by spraying cleaners or similar additives directly into the intake duct: any residues could damage the engine; any cleaning should be done by disassembling and washing the individual parts.
Finally, to replace the cabin air filter, remove the plastic cap located just below the windscreen, near the left wiper: unclip the two retaining clips, lift the cap and extract the old filter. Clean any residues and position the new filter, ensuring the airflow direction is respected. Then reposition the cap and reclip the retaining clips. Reassemble the engine cover.
