How to Perform a Full Service on a Range Rover Evoque

Performing a full service on a Range Rover Evoque is usually a task done by an authorized workshop, but if you're curious about how to do it yourself, you can follow this video tutorial. The first step is to remove the engine cover to access the air filter. Use an air compressor to clean any debris present. Then, install the new filter. Next, move on to removing the fuel filter. To do this, press down on a clip as shown in the video and pull back, being careful to remove the plastic clip located at the bottom and pull upwards. Once everything is unscrewed, you can install the new oil filter. Now, using a 10mm socket wrench, remove the cover under the underbody. In this position, you will be able to remove the oil filter using a 6mm wrench. After this step, you can reinstall the new filter and add 1/2 quart of oil to reach a total of 6 quarts. After completing all the previous steps, you can proceed to the maintenance reset. Turn on the ignition and use the steering wheel buttons to navigate to: vehicle information - next service and press "OK". To perform the reset, keep the door open, the hood open, and press the brake and accelerator pedals simultaneously for 60 seconds. After this, turn off and turn on the ignition again to go to: vehicle information - next service and reset the oil change. Now you can move on to replacing the brake pads both front and rear. To do this, you must first remove the wheels so you can take off the side springs. Unscrew the caps on the side of the caliper and use a screwdriver to reset the piston, then use a 9mm wrench to unscrew the two bolts. This will allow you to reinstall the new pads. For the rear pad replacement, the process is more involved due to the electronic parking brake, so you will need to perform a diagnosis. If you cannot perform a diagnosis, you can do a manual maneuver that should be completed as quickly as possible. The first step is to remove the covers and the spring, take out the indicator and the caliper bolts. Now, get in the car, turn on the ignition while keeping the parking brake button fully down; this will unlock the parking brake caliper, allowing you to change the pads. Finally, reassemble everything.
