Performing a complete service on a Range Rover Evoque is usually a task carried out by an authorized workshop, but if we are curious to know how to do it ourselves, we can rely on this video tutorial. The first thing to do is to remove the engine protection cover in order to proceed with the removal of the air filter. Using an air compressor, we clean any foreign bodies present. And we install the new filter. Now we can move on to removing the diesel filter. To perform this operation, you need to press, as shown in the video, on a stop and pull back, being very careful to remove the plastic clip located at the bottom and pull upwards. Once everything is unscrewed, we can install the new oil filter. Now, using a 10mm ratchet wrench, we proceed to remove the underbody cover. In this position, it will be possible to remove the oil filter using a 6mm wrench. After completing this operation, we can reinsert the new filter and add 1/2 liter of oil to reach a total of 6 liters. After completing all the previous operations, we can proceed to the maintenance reset. We turn on the ignition and with the steering wheel buttons, we go to: vehicle information - next service and press "OK". To perform the reset, you must keep the door open, the hood open, and press the brake and accelerator pedals simultaneously for 60 seconds. After doing this, we turn off and turn on the ignition to go to: vehicle information - next service and reset the oil change. Now we can move on to replacing the brake pads, both front and rear. To do this, we must first remove the wheels so that we can remove the side springs. We unscrew the caps on the side of the caliper and use a screwdriver to reset the piston to zero, and then use a 9mm wrench to unscrew the two bolts. This will allow us to insert the new ones. To change the rear pads, the process is much longer as there is an electronic handbrake, so a diagnosis must be performed. If we do not have the possibility to perform a diagnosis, we can perform a manual maneuver that must be done as quickly as possible. The first thing to do is to remove the caps and the spring, remove the sensor and the caliper bolts. Now we enter the car, turn on the ignition while holding the handbrake button completely down. This way, we have unlocked the handbrake caliper and we can change the pads. All that's left is to reassemble everything.
