How to Locate Fuses and Understand Diagrams in a Subaru Outback

Model: Subaru Outback MK 4, BM, BR - Years 2009-2014

The first fuse panel in a Subaru Outback can be found inside the vehicle, located behind the dashboard on the lower left side of the steering wheel, on the driver's side. This panel contains fuses assigned to: front and rear electric windows, stop lights, navigation system, windscreen wipers, air conditioning, audio system, SRS airbags, ABS, etc. The next box is located in the engine compartment, so to access it, you will need to lift the vehicle's bonnet; this contains fuses assigned to: horn, fuel pump, high and low beam lights (left and right), alternator, injectors, door locks, fog lights, etc.
